2009: Provided support of other South Florida
Alumni/Alumnae organization events and efforts in excess of $600
in 2009.
2009: In joint partnership with CASA and other
alumni organizations in S. Florida to support the Dacosta and Manning
Cup Teams in competition in Ft. Lauderdale - December 2009.
2009: Provided Christmas gifts and cards to 3
Jamaican Families through Women in Distress
2009: Presented approximately $1,000 in scholarship
support to a past student studying in the US.
2009: Presented financial support
in scholarship to a student at the Blair School.
2009: Presented approximately
$500 in hygienic products, sheet sets for the sick bay, and a Combo
Printer to the Guidance Department.
2009: Committed US$5,000 earmarked to launch the
Special Education Resource Room in 2010.

Family through Women in Distress and a needy Alumnae.
2007: Solicited and received 6 twin beds for
the sick bay at St. Hugh's, and the association purchased 11 sheet
sets for those beds.
2007: Alumnae donated 25 backpacks filled with
suppplies and several binder notebooks.
2007: Donated three boxes of books and 1 set
of Encyclopedias for the Ethel Kingdom Library.
2007: A US$2,250 Scholarship to 6 needy
St. Hugh's High School Students.
Scholarship includes Exam Fees, books, bus fare, extra lessons and lunch money.
2007: Provided approximately 2,000 personal hygienic
items for needy St. Hugh's girls through the Guidance Counselor.
2007: Alumnae donated 3 large copy machines
to St. Hugh's High School.
2007: Solicited and received a $600 MedPak donation from a large well
established fortune 500 company.
2007: Provided financial donation to the Kiwanis "Christmas
in July" project for purchasing school supplies for needy
families in Broward County.
2006: Purchased
books for the school’s
Ethel Kingdom Library.
2004-2005: Replaced chairs in the St. Hugh’s
High School Library –
In 2004, Hurricane Ivan destroyed the roof, furniture and books in the school’s
Library. Collaboratively, with Principal Smith, our association raised funds
through our 2004 Swan Dance to purchase replacement chairs for the renovated
facility.
2004: Sent financial donation toward the purchase
of a school bus.
2003: Scholarship for a St. Hugh’s High
School student. Helped with funds towards tuition, bus fare and
lunch money.
2003: Neighbours for Neighbours Christmas project - Sponsor
a Family for Thanksgiving and Christmas (Food and family gifts).
2002: Scholarship for the child of a St. Hugh’s
